Jarrod
Grant completes one year at
Arrowhead, he has 15 years of
tennis experience. He began
working in tennis at the age
of 15 as a junior instructor
for the national junior tennis
league. He was top ten USTA
Middle States player. He attended
Morgan state university on a
full tennis scholarship where
he played #1. He is currently
a well respected tennis coach
working with some of the best
juniors, collegiate and pro
players in the area. Jarrod
uses unique techniques with
emphasis on fitness, mental
toughness, and confidence building.
Jarrod takes personal interest
in steering customers in the
right direction and helps.
Jim
Gio
USPTA
Certified Tennis Instructor
with seventeen years teaching
experience, Jim also possesses
nineteen seasons of coaching
High School and Middle School
tennis teams, the last nine
as Head Coach at West Windsor-Plainsboro
High School South. The WW-P
South Boy’s Team is currently
the #1 ranked team in the area
for the fifth year in a row,
and #4 in the State. They are
also five-time defending Mercer
County Tournament Champions,
Group IV State Champions in
2005, and New Jersey State Doubles
Champions in 2007. Jim has received
“Coach of the Year” honors for
Boy’s Tennis in 2003, 2004,
2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, from
the Trenton Times, Trentonian
and Princeton Packet publications.
Playing experience: Jim has
20 years of experience competing
in USTA and Local leagues and
tournaments. In 1998 Jim played
on a USTA 4.5 Team that reached
the Sectional final. Also in
that year, Jim reached the finals
of the James E. Cryan Tennis
Tournament in the Mixed Doubles
“A” Division. Jim is also the
six-time defending Champion
of the Mercer County 40 “A”
Tournament. Jim has been a great
counselor and mentor for students
& patents to transition high
school players to college tennis.
